Maili-Jade Ouellet is a chess player from Saint-Lambert, Québec, just across the St Lawrence from Montréal.
She won the Canadian Women’s Chess Championship in 2017, when she was just 15. She won the Continental Women’s Chess Championship 2019, in Aguascalientes, México, when she was 17, and was awarded the Woman Grandmaster (WGM) title in 2020.
Just back from competing in the 2021 Women’s World Cup in Sochi, Russia, this 19-year-old chess champion will be joining us as a special guest in the August 16-20 Future Masters camp next Wednesday. She’ll be sharing one of her games from Sochi, and she’ll be available for a Q&A.
