Chess Institute of Canada invites all parents and caregivers of CIC students, and interested friends, to attend a casual celebration of the season. This open house will host a non-rated chess arena for those who want to play. A member of our administration team will fill you in our exciting plans for the next year. Plus, there will be breakout rooms for meeting other parents and meeting some instructors.

Coffee, tea, and eggnog, along with shortbreads and gingerbreads, would have been served if we could safely do this in person. I think that if we each bring a hot beverage and warm cookie to our computer while donning our most festive attire, we could make it an interesting holiday party. So please come for the chess and stay for the socializing. It’ll be fun!
