Marvin Rosenhek (1929-2021) practiced law in Montréal for sixty-five years, specializing in the field of professional negligence. Marvin enjoyed spending time with his family, loved the country and nature, enjoyed beekeeping, bridge, spy novels, and living life with his wife of sixty-seven years, Joyce. Marvin was a life-long avid chess player and played with the Canadian Correspondence Chess Association into his nineties!
Chess institute of Canada is extremely grateful for the Rosenhek family’s generous creation of a memorial fund in Marvin’s name. All monies raised will be put directly into school and community educational programs that will bring the benefits of chess to a new generation of Canadians.
If you are able to help us share Marvin’s love of chess, please consider supporting this worthy cause!
