Sponsorship funds feasibility study for Chess Institute of Canada systems enhancements
Chess Institute of Canada (CIC) thanks Spirit of Math Central Toronto Campus for its generous $6,000 marketing/research sponsorship.
These sponsorship funds are to be used by CIC to do a feasibility study on the integration of its existing and potential administration and chess learning systems with a new Chess Learning Integration Portal (CLIP). The main objectives of CLIP are to provide both operational efficiencies and an enhanced online user experience for students, parents and instructors. CIC believes that if CLIP is determined to be viable, both technologically and financially, this result would provide additional fundraising opportunities to further advance CLIP as an internal development project of CIC.
The study of math and chess have natural tie-ins, and many students who attend CIC’s chess programs are potential students for Spirit of Math Central Toronto Campus’ math enrichment programs. Both organizations provide in-person and online programs and are located in Central Toronto’s Bloor Street area known as “The Annex.”
